Flies are supplied for the angler but in the event you wish to bring your own: Clouser Minnows and a variety of shrimp and crab pattern work well. Surface patterns are effective. Depending on water clarity, a mix of bright colors like white, pink and chartreuse as well as a selection of natural colors like tan cream and brown.

Polarized sunglasses are critical (brown, copper, or amber lenses work best). Fishing License, Dark under-brim hat, quick drying tropical clothing, sun protection such as a Buff, sun gloves, unscented lotion type sunscreen/ please no spray. Deck or boat shoes with grippy, non black scuffing soles. Wading boots are not required as most fishing is done from the boat. If you prefer to do some wading neoprene booties are best.
